Creative engineering and intelligent design make all of the LawnBott models easy to install and use. A thin wire is pegged to the ground to confine the mower within the desired area. The mower will follow this line to trim the edge and then enter the main lawn area.

1.	The LawnBott can be set to automatically start mowing at the times and days that you select. The "house" is where LawnBot charges its batteries and it also provides protection when the mower is idle.
2.	The wire laid to define the perimeter also acts as a guide while the mower trims around the edges of the lawn
3.	LawnBott allows you to set a number of different points to enter the lawn. By using this feature you can automatically mow different areas or start the mower at a different point for better coverage. Once it enters the lawn, it follows a semi random pattern. The Evolution and Deluxe LT models include the Smart Spiral feature. If long grass is encountered the mower will switch to a spiral pattern to focus on the area.
4.	When the set time has elapsed or the batteries require a recharge, the LawnBott returns to the edge and follows it back to its charging house. By laying the wire in a "V" the LawnBott can be directed to leave the wire and take a "shortcut" to its home.

Lawn mowing modes are "random" and "spiral". When the LawnBott encounters thick or high grass it automatically* switches to spiral mowing mode. This reduces missed areas and results in a more even appearance.
*Smart Spiral is standard on Evolution and Deluxe LT models.
